Sir Francis D'Arcy Cooper, 1st Bt. was born on 17 November 1882 at London, England.1 He was the son of Francis Cooper and Ada Frances Power.1 He married Evelyn Hilda Mary Radford, daughter of Arthur Locke Radford, on 3 June 1193.1 He died on 18 December 1941 at age 59 at Westridge, Coppice Lane, Reigate, Surrey, England.1
Sir Francis D'Arcy Cooper, 1st Bt. usually went by his middle name of D'Arcy.1 He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He was a partner with Cooper Brothers & Company in 1910.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was badly wounded on the Somme.1 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Cooper [U.K.] in 1941.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
