Thomas North Graves, 2nd Lord Graves, Baron of Gravesend was born on 28 May 1775.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Thomas Graves, 1st Lord Graves, Baron of Gravesend and Elizabeth Williams.1 He married Lady Mary Paget, daughter of Henry Paget, 1st Earl of Uxbridge and Jane Champagné, on 27 June 1803.2 He died on 7 February 1830 at age 54.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple.1 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Graves, Baron of Gravesend, co. Londonerry [I., 1794] on 9 February 1802.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Okehampton between 1812 and 1818.1 He held the office of Lord of the Bedchamber to King George IV between 1813 and 1827.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Windsor between 1819 and 1820.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Milborne Port between 1820 and 1827.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1821.1 He was a Commissioner of Excise between 1827 and 1830.1

Captain Lord Charles Arthur Conyngham was born on 1 February 1871.1 He was the son of General George Henry Conyngham, 3rd Marquess Conyngham and Lady Jane St. Maur Blanche Stanhope.1 He married, firstly, Lena Barbara Morgan, daughter of Lewis Richard Morgan, in 1899.1 He married, secondly, Annie Brewer Morgan, daughter of Daniel Morgan, on 6 August 1910.1 He died on 7 March 1929 at age 58.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Defence Forces.1
