Arthur Upton was born on 9 January 1714/15.2 He was the son of John Upton and Mary Upton.3 He married, firstly, Sophia Ward, daughter of Michael Ward and Anne Catharina Hamilton.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Cosby, daughter of Pole Cosby and Mary Dodwell.4 He died on 8 April 1763 at age 48, without issue.4,2

Henry Mills Skrine

Henry Mills Skrine was born on 20 May 1844 at Marylebone, London, England.1 He was the son of Henry Duncan Skrine and Susan Caroline Mills. He married Lady Mary Jane Gore-Langton, daughter of William Henry Powell Gore-Langton and Lady Anna Eliza Mary Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville, on 1 October 1872 at Holy Trinity Church, Newton St. Loe, Somerset, England.1 He died on 7 March 1915 at age 70 at Plymouth, Devon, England.1
He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He lived at Warleigh Manor, Somerset, EnglandG.2

Henry Langton Skrine was born on 12 November 1880 at London, England.1 He was the son of Henry Mills Skrine and Lady Mary Jane Gore-Langton. He married Ferdinande Anna Josephine Georgina Marie d'Orgeval, daughter of Robert Joseph Gaston le Barrois d'Orgeval, in 1914. He died on 25 September 1915 at age 34 at Hooge, Belgium, killed in action.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War.
