Edward Brassey, 4th Baron Brassey of Apethorpe was born on 9 March 1964.1 He is the son of Major David Henry Brassey, 3rd Baron Brassey of Apethorpe and Myrna Elizabeth Baskervyle-Glegg.1 He married Joanna Claire Pardoe, daughter of Julian Hugh Pardoe and Camilla Guendolen Tudor-Evans, in February 2003.2,3
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1985 in the Grenadier Guards.2 He retired from the military in 1991.2 He was a public affairs consultant for Ludgate Communications after 1992.2 He lived in 2003 at The Manor House, Apethorpe, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Brassey [U.K., 1922] on 7 May 2015. He succeeded as the 4th Baron Brassey of Apethorpe, of Apethorpe, co. Northampton [U.K., 1938] on 7 May 2015.
