Ralph de Lumley, 1st and last Lord Lumley was born circa 1360.1 He was the son of Marmaduke de Lumley and Margaret de Holand.2 He married Eleanor de Neville, daughter of John de Neville, 3rd Lord Neville and Maud de Percy.1 He died in January 1399/0, beheaded by the citizens of Cirencester.1,2
He was appointed Knight before 1384.2 He was created 1st Lord Lumley [England by writ] on 28 September 1384.2 He fought in the Battle of Otterburn, where he was captured by the Scots, and released by 1389.2 He held the office of CAptain of Berwick-upon-Tweed in 1391.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorlshire in 1394.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorlshire in 1397.2 In 1399 he took part in the attempt by the Earl of Huntingdon to restore King Richard II.2 In March 1400/1 he was posthumously attainted and his peerage forfeited.2

Robert de Willoughby, 4th Lord Willoughby de Eresby was born circa 1349.1 He was the son of John de Willoughby, 3rd Lord Willoughby de Eresby and Cecily de Ufford.1,2 He married, firstly, Alice Skipwith, daughter of Sir William de Skipwith and Alice de Hiltoft, before 1371.2 He married, secondly, Margery la Zouche, daughter of William la Zouche, 2nd Baron Zouche (of Haryngworth) and Elizabeth de Ros, before 29 March 1372.3 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Latimer, Baroness Latimer (of Corby), daughter of William le Latimer, 3rd/4th Lord Latimer (of Corby) and Lady Elizabeth FitzAlan, after 1388.1 He died on 9 August 1396.1
He succeeded as the 4th Lord Willoughby de Eresby [E., 1313] on 29 March 1372.2 He fought in the French Campaign from 1373 to 1374.2 He fought in the Scottish Campaign in 1385.2 He fought in the Spanish Campaign from 1386 to 1387.2
