* According to A. Hague, the British Conus (FFO, station 14) and White Crest (cargo of timber, station 85) also sailed in this convoy. He says Conus and several other ships became stragglers on Febr. 3; they have been denoted * above. Langleeford and White Crest also straggled, but no date is given. See Hague's listing for HX 18 on the page naming ships in all HX convoys.
