CONVOY HX 313
Departed New York City on Oct. 10-1944 and arrived Liverpool on the 24th.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 43 ships in this convoy.
Notes:
Additionally, the Rescue Vessel Eddystone sailed with this convoy. She was on her 8th voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde with the westbound Convoy ON 255 on Sept. 23-1944, to Halifax Oct. 7 - returning with HX 313 from Halifax Oct. 12, to Clyde Oct. 24. ("Convoy Rescue Ships", Arnold Hague).
Commodore F. H. Taylor R.N. was in the Norwegian Troubadour. Commodore's notes are not available.
