Modasa and Themistocles have been given the same station number. Perhaps Themistocles belongs in station 52?

Also in this convoy (station number not known):
Swedish Bur - Sydney, C.B.

* See ON 4.
** Empire Kittiwake returned to port and does not show up again until Convoy ON 19 towards the end of Sept.-1941, with destination New York. She had also returned from ON 7. (This ship later became the Norwegian Norfalk in May-1942). Keila also returned, and does not show up again until Convoy ON 19 (from which she straggled).
*** See ON 8.

* HM repair ship for St. John's, N.F. base.
** The ship in station 55 is listed as Melpomone (7011 gt), but I believe this must be a mis-spelling of the ex French Melpoméne (MOWT 1940 - same tonnage).
*** A. Hague says Elna II (Ex Estonian Elna) was Russian, but according to J. W. Jordan's "The World's Merchant Fleets 1939", she did not become Russian until 1942. Also, the latter source says that Dago II was the ex Latvian Dagö, but this ship was 2157 gt, while A. Hague has given the tonnage as 1993 gt for Dago II in this convoy. I believe this might have been the ex Danish Dagø, 1996 gt. (There was also a British Dago of 1757 gt)
