Galerius and Constantius I, AE22. 6.90 gr. 293-305 AD. IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS PF AVG, laureate head right. FL VAL CONSTANTIVS NOB CAES, radiate, cuirassed bust right. 6.90g, 22mm. Near Very Fine. Not in Cohen, RIC, Gnecchi etc.. None of the sources consulted list this coin (RIC, ERIC, Cohen, Mionnet Roman Coinage, Voetter, Ackerman, Gnecchi etc.). It is very unusual and actually historically puzzling, because both were Augusti at the same time, yet this coin has the Augustus legend for Galerius and a Caesar legend for Constantius.
