Grade:VF '276-277 A.D. Obv.: Radiate military bust of Probus right/Rev.: emperor on horseback left, bound captive at his feet. The 'Adventus Avg' reverse types mark Probus' travels throughout the empire. The Mint mark in the exergue on the reverse changed as he entered a new Mint city, arriving back in Rome in 277. Lots of silvering remaining on this coin except on the high points of wear. [L534392]
