IMP C PROBVS .P.F.AVG, Radiate, cuirassed bust r., drapery seen on far shoulder / ERCVLI PACIFERO, Hercules standing l., holding olive-branch, club and lion’s skin; VIXXT in exe. Emission 4 Officina 6. Minted 278 A.D. References RIC 381 Bust Type F, rated Common. This coin has ERCVLI PACIFERO reverse legend variety. Another unusual fetail on this coin type is that it is one of the few legends outside Lugdunum to use the dots to separate the "P F AVG" in the obverse legend.
