Prescription Discounts for Seniors & Low Income Families
1. The Together RX Card: 1-800-865-7211, www.together-rx.com
Seven major pharmaceutical companies are offering this free card to low-income seniors.
A minimum discount of 15% off list price to wholesalers is given.
2. Eli Lilly: 1-877-RX-LILLY (1-877-795-4559) This company has a discount program for its own products. There are eligibility criteria.
3. Pfizer: 1800-717-6005 This company has a discount program for its own products. There are eligibility criteria.
4. National Association of Chain Drug Stores: 1-703-837-4244 The association will be giving low-income seniors a card that allows them to buy discounted prescription drugs.
5. Novartis Pharmaceuticals: 1-866-974-2273 This company has a discount program for its own products. There are eligibility criteria.
6. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation: www.rxassist.org
This internet site helps people find drug discounts. You have to search for your drug name.
7. Needymeds and Pediatrics for Parents, Inc.: www.needymeds.com
This internet site helps people find drug discounts, and is a little easier to access than the one
above because it has a list of drug names to click on.
8. Pharma.org: www.pharma.org/patients
This internet site helps people find drug assistance. You must know the pharmaceutical company's
name because that is how it is listed, not by drug.
9. Serving Health Insurance Needs of Seniors: 1-800-963-5337 This company has a "prescription assistance" fact sheet that you can request.
There are eligibility criteria for all of the drug price assistance programs, and each one is different. However, all of them stipulate that the recipient must currently not be covered by any drug insurance or discount plan.

2) Gulf Coast Dental Outreach - is a non profit organization set up to help those without dental coverage or in low income families
