"Every good **gift and every **perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." ~James 1:17~

Let's have a Tea Party!!!
Why don't you pour yourself a cup....... and I'll pour one here where I am. We can pull up a chair and then we can have a nice visit together for a while. I'm partial to raspberry tea myself.

If you are serving a pot of tea,
you will have good results with this recipe:

1. Rinse out the teakettle and start with fresh, cold tap water. Never boil anything but water in your teakettle. 2. Bring the water to its first rolling boil. Never overboil! Overboiling takes the oxygen out of the water, which in turn creates a flat beverage. 3. Take the teapot to the teakettle and rinse out the pot with the boiling water from the kettle. Never take the kettle to the teapot, as you lose one degree of heat per second. Water for tea must be 212 degrees. 4. Use one teabag or teaspoon of loose tea per cup. Leaves enter the warm teapot and the infusion begins when the leaf opens. 5. Pour hot water gently over the leaves. (Never bruise the leaves.) 6. Allow the tea to brew for three to five minutes, according to the blend of tea and how strong you like it. ~From "Tea Time with God"~

Learn How to Make Suntea
1. Place 3 family size (or 9 regular size) tea bags in a clean one gallon Suntea jar. 2. Add cold water to fill. 3. Cap the jar loosely and place in hot sunshine for 3 - 4 hours to brew. 4. Remove tea bags. 5. Flavor and sweeten to taste with sugar, fruit juice or sweetener. 6. Refrigerate unused portion within 5 hours of brewing.

**Remember: because this tea is not brewed with boiling water, it should be served within 48 hours.

Enjoy these Hints & Tips
Tea Ice Cubes: You might also want to pour some of the tea into Ice Cube trays to make Tea Ice Cubes. That way when the ice cubes melt they won't water down your tea. Some people put edible flowers in the ice trays before freezing.

Garnish: Don't forget a nice garnish for the glass. How about using a large stir stick or tooth pick and slide different berries on it. You could use a sprig of Mint or a slice of orange or lemon.

Frosted Glasses: Why not use stemmed glasses or a regular Iced Tea Glass? Now don't forget to Frost the glasses. You do this by putting the glasses in the freezer before serving the tea.

Special Stir Sticks for Tea
"Serve sticks of peppermint or lemon candy with cups of hot tea. Guests stir, sweeten and flavor their tea all at once -- and no spoons to wash. Peppermint or molasses sticks are wonderful with hot cocoa, too." ~From With Love...and a pinch of Salt~
