The City of Rust (German Stadt Rust/ Croatian Grad Ru�ta) is an independent city in the province of Burgenland (Croatian Gradi�če). It is small city with less then 2000 inhabitants, but it hold its historical rights of free city which was given by the Hungarian King Leopold I in 1681.
