Description of the flag

The Whitsunday Shire flag was displayed in the council chambers (along with the Australian Flag and Queensland Flag) prior to amalgamation with Bowen Shire in 2008 and has since been donated to the local historical society. The green strips were 1/6 the height with the crest located centrally. To the best of my knowledge the flag was never flown outside.
