Description

Glenelg Yacht Club.
Established Adelaide, South Australia, 21 August 1874.
1879. Warrant for plain Blue Ensign. Blue burgee: white cross (the same as the original Geelong Yacht Club burgee)
No warrants issued after 1880. In Lloyds' Yacht Register with special ensign 1882 � 1906.
1909. Name changed to Glenelg Sailing Club. White burgee: blue cross.
1928. Glenelg Yacht Club removed from Navy List.
1 June 1998. Amalgamated with Holdfast Bay Yacht Club to form Adelaide Sailing Club.
