City of Sliven, Capital of the Province

The flag of Sliven was adopted by the Sliven Municipality Council on 26 October 1995, after the design of Evgeni Valev, an artist. The ratio of stripes is 2:1:1:1:2; the height of the coat of arms is 2/3 the height of the flag.
