The municipality

The town of Jorochito (4,818 inhabitants), located 10 km west of El Torno, was established on 29 June 1954.

The flag

The flag of Jorochito, designed by Ermindo Bejarano Meigar (b. 1966), is horizontally divided white-green with a blue triangle placed along the hoist and a red cross patty in the white stripe.
