The municipality of Dois Irm�os das Miss�es (2,166 inhabitants in 2016; 322,568 ha) is located 400 km north-west of Porto Alegre.

Dois Irm�os das Miss�es is named for the two brother and sister ("dois irm�os"), Jos� Benoni do Amaral and Terez Bety Amaral Martins, who settled the place.

The flag of Dois Irm�os das Miss�es is vertically divided into two unequal trapezoids, a smaller, white, placed along the hoist and charged with the municipal coat of arms, and a larger, red, at hoist. This delimits two triangles of equal size, the upper green and the lower yellow. The red trapezoid is crossed by a thin blue horizontal stripe.
