Alberta issued a special flag to commemorate its centenary year. A firm called Flagworks has apparently won the contract to produce these flags.

The flag pictured here was displayed at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton for the arrival of the Queen on May 23, 2005 to officially launch celebrations of the centennial year of Alberta's entry into Canadian confederation. Limited quantities are available through the manufacturer, the look company.

Alberta Provincial Parks 75th Anniversary Flag

The year 2007 marked the 75th anniversary of the Provincial Park System in Alberta. To commemorate this event, a flag was designed which features a stylized version of a teepee under a sky of multi-colored stars along with the words "2007 Alberta Parks 75".
