The Canadian Aviation Hall of Fame Museum is located in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.

The flag of the Museum features the Silver Dart, the first heavier than air aircraft to fly in Canada at Baddeck, Nova Scotia on February 23, 1909.

A modified light blue double bordered roundel is similar to theCanadian Air Force Ensign.

Unfortunately the re-run (re-flight) of the replica of the Silver Dart was abandoned because of 100 km/h winds and rain on Bras d'Or Lake. Still, its test flight was a great success, and will have to stand in for the day's event.

To be specific, the Silver Dart was the first heavier than air powered aircraft in the British Empire, and was funded by A G Bell (whom Canadians claim as our own).
