Description of the flag

Leduc county in Alberta, Canada, has a flag, which is shown on a photo of the county council.

It seems that is county logo, but with blue band on the hoist.

Blue band on hoist and fly. The oil derrick represents the local oil industry - Leduc was the site of the first major oil strike in the Alberta Basin (1947) - and the woven wheat represents the agricultural industry.

The oil derrick is shaped like a letter L, perhaps, thereby giving LC for Leduc County?

This is a previous flag design representing Leduc County - triband yellow-white-yellow, with a central emblem in which an oil derrick, a stack of sulphur, and a wheat head are arranged to resemble the letters LC, on a black disk.
