The Municipality
Brazeau County (7,771 inhabitants in 2016; 300,535 ha) was incorporated on 1 July 1988 from Improvement District No. 222. On 1 October 2002, the name was changed from Municipal District of Brazeau No. 77 to Brazeau County.
