Motto
STRIVING TOWARD A MAGNIFICENT FUTURE uses the first letter from the names of each of the four municipalities.
The Arms (Shield)
Traditional and patriotic red, white and blue colours of the district "theme" - union of the four municipalities of the Trent River: Bay of Quinte wide vertical centre white band; Trent River lower white tip; Bay of Quinte - 4 bands - 2 blue, 2 white - 4 municipalities
Coronets with upper rim of maple and oak leaves is representative of the Loyalists
The Crest (Above the Shield)
A Steel helmet of heraldry, mantled by a cloth held in place by a wreath in red, white and blue
The lion holds a flagstaff in his right paw and flies a white flag with the four wavy bands representing the four municipalities
The lion also honours the Loyalists
The lion upholds the honour of Quinte West by carrying the flag
The lions wings refer to the Trenton RCAF and the air show

The shield rests on a mound of green representing fields, parks and woodlands
A plow from Township of Murray - agriculture heritage and enterprise
A beaver from City of Trenton represents hard work and enterprise
The beaver's collar of rings from the Village of Frankford represents achievement.
The beaver's cogwheel from the City of Trenton represents industry
The horse and collar with sheaf of grain from Township of Sidney represents transport, heritage and agriculture
