Description of the flag

From Town of Whitby web site

In 1969 the Town adopted an official flag. The flag consists of three background colours: white, blue and red. The Maple Leaf in the top right corner represents Canada; the Trillium represents the Province of Ontario and to their left, the Town's Crest represents the Corporation of the Town of Whitby.
