Brossard is a municipality in the Montrgie region of Quebec, in the Greater Montreal area. In the 2011 Census, Brossard's population was 79,273. Brossard was borough of the municipality of Longueuil, but voted for de-amalgamation, effective 1 January 2006.
According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brossard) Brossard now uses a flag with a square green centre patch bearing four similar b-leaf symbols to resemble a road intersection.

This city is now part of Longueuil. I saw this flag in the Fall of 2001. The logo represents a green tree leaf and the letter 'b'. The typographic style of the letter is called "pump".
