The logo features a map of the municipality and a covered bridge. Flag observed in the summer of 1999.

In front of the town hall of Chelsea, one can see the flag of Chelsea (white with logo), the flags of Canada and Quebec of course, and (source: e-mail from the municipality, June 2020) the flag of Edson, Alberta, twin city from Chelsea.
