The logo of Pierreville was unveiled in 2007.
The logo as a whole conveys a welcoming and rural image. It invites people to discover the municipality's numerous attractions, especially the beauty of the landscapes and the quality of life. The logo emphasizes the numerous components that make of Pierreville "an enchanting place to live". The landscape is represented by a bird flight, river Saint-Franois crossing arable lands, and a boat sailing upstream.
The economical activity is represented by a flower, representing horticulture. Agriculture, especially fresh vegetable gardening, is represented by the fields and furrows. The boat recalls fishing industry. The flower shaped like a gear wheel also symbolizes mechanic and manufacturing industries. Tourism is represented by the landscape's beauty and the birds.
The logo is shaped like an open book, in lateral view, symbolizing warm spirit and look to the future, as well as open-mindedness. Historical heritage is symbolized by the calligraphic writing, as if it was hand-written using a quill. The horizontal lines framing the writing suggest solid foundations.
Blue and smooth green give an ecological touch to the logo. Blue represents Lake Saint-Pierre and river Saint-Franois; green represents the rural environment and charming vegetation.
