The Whitby Yacht Club was founded in 1966 and located on the shores of Lake Ontario in the historic Whitby Harbour of Ontario, Canada. It should not to be confused with the Whitby Yacht Club of Whitby, North Yorkshire, in the United Kingdom, although the two cities are sister cities. The Whitby Yacht Club, offers racing, cruising, social, and sail training programs on Lake Ontario.

The burgee of the club is a stylized red and blue letter W on a white field.
