Gules a cross pattee throughout Or surmounted by a plum blossom Argent seeded of the Second.

On 1 January 2009 the new commune of La Baroche was formed through the merger of Asuel, Charmoille, Fregiécourt, Miécourt and Pleujouse (see below).
The emblem shows a plum blossom (The anthers distinguish it from a rose blossom), symbolizing the sort of plum trees typical for the Ajoie region and basis for the Damassine brandy.
The five sepals stand for the five former communes. The cross reminds of the origin of the commune's name, paroisse(parish).
