Per fess, Gules a Maltese Cross Argent, and of the last a Latin letter R Sable.

This was known as a commandery in 1294. In 1427 it was united with the commandery of Hohenrain. The officiating pastor of Reiden is, by virtue of his office, a chaplain of magistral grace of the Order of Malta. (von Volborth (1981))
