The Association was established in 1897. Its flag is the unchanged Cantonal Flag. Below the flag a red ribbon bears the yellow inscription "ZUGER KANT.SCHÜTZENVERBAND". Obverse and reverse are identical. 150x140 cm (website).

The club was established in 2016 through the merger of Schützengesellschaft Unterägeri,Schützengesellschaft Oberägeri, and Schützengesellschaft am Morgarten (est. 1913).
The year 1662 on the new flag (introduced in 2019) refers to the earliest reference of shooting in Oberägeri (website).
