Legislation
- Law about the war flags of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
The law was adopted on 31 May 1993 and 14 June 1993, in House of the Republics and House of the Citizens of the Federal Assembly, respectively, and proclaimed by the "Decree on proclamation of the law ..." of the same date. The law became valid on 26 June 1993, and the use of the flags should start with the date when the law on coat of arms became valid.
There is a list of previous laws that this one superseded, and they are in fact laws of the Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY):
- Law on war flags of the SFRY and rank and command flags, Official gazette of SFRY 22/73
- Law on the vessel commanders' flags and pennants of the naval forces of the Yugoslav Army, Official gazette SFRY, 46/75.
- Decision about the command flags and rank flags of the navy vessels of the Yugoslavian army, of the 19th January 1995.
