Aš city new flag(proposal)
Aš, Cheb districy Karlovy Vary region - adopted 8 Jun 2004 - at this webpage. The similarity with the (unofficial) flag of Scheveningen(Netherlands) is striking.

Aasch: modification of the former flag; horizontally striped White over Blue (2:1); on the White stripe the city arms.

It is now Aš (Aš - s with a v on top), in the extreme west of the Czech Republic. Some time ago I browsed through some Egerlander sites and I think I saw it spelled as Aasch; the German name most used is Asch. The Coat of Arms is at this site.

The city of Aasch (better: Ašch) is a Czech city in the extreme west of Bohemia, near to the German border. Asch is the German name, the Czech name is Aš.
