The village was an important place even prior to the Hussite Wars as is attested to by the establishment of a parish here and the construction of St Wenceslas` Church, whose current appearance dates from 1703. On Easter Sunday Wine Tasting takes place in Boršice. In October costumed feasts are held there, involving the local Pentla ensemble and Boršičanka brass band.
