Westhausen Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, a fleur-de-lis Or.
Meaning:
The arms had been family arms of the local gentry. Their members had been commissionaires of Ellwangen. The banner colour, not fitting the tinctures of the arms, had been in use before the Deutsche Gemeindeordnung was introduced on 1 April 1935. The use of the banner is thus approved automatically.

Arms (and probably also) banner had been adopted in 1930 by the municipality.
