Description
The Höhere Kommunalverbände (higher communal associations) in Baden-Württemberg are two Landeswohlfahrtsverbände corresponding basically to the former states of Württemberg and Baden. The Landeswohlfahrtsverband Baden uses the traditional flag of Baden, a horizontal triband of yellow-red-yellow. This flag, used by the Land Baden until it became part of Baden-Württemberg in 1952, is used without legal prescription.

The two Landeswohlfahrtsverbände in Baden-Württemberg have ceased to exist as of 31 December 2004. Therefore the flags also have ceased to be used, at least as flags of these two administrations. The flag of Baden is still used as regional flag by the people there.
