Niederviehbach Coat of Arms
Shield Vert, a lion passant Argent alongside a quadruplemount issuant Argent in bend, in sinister chief a bend wavy Or.
Meaning:
Lion and mount are taken from the canting arms of the Counts of Leonberg, who founded the Augustine Nieverviehbach Nunnery in 1296. The fess wavy is taken from the arms of the Lords of Eschlbach and it is a canting element referring to the suffix "-bach" (= creek). The nunnery acquired parts of the possessions of the lords in the 14th century. The green shade of the banner is darker than that one of the arms.
