Untergruppenbach Coat of Arms
Shield Gules, an orb Or.
Meaning:
The orb first had been a local symbol. Its existence had been proven in a local court seal in 1726. It also appeared in an architectural sculpture in the municipal hall and on boundary stones since 1740. The orb, consisting of a golden ball topped by a cross trefly of the same, was related to the rule of the Palatine Counts as liege lords.
