Harsdorf Coat of Arms
Shield Argent a tower Gules with two oriels and balls Or on top of all roofs, mantle Azure charged with a crozier Argent in pale at dexter and a malting shovel Argent in pale at sinister.
Meaning:
The municipal arms combine elements of former local rulers. The white shield with blue mantle displays the family arms of the Lords of Künssberg. The tower is a differentiation of the family arms of the Lords of Harsdorf. Shape and tinctures were changed. The crozier is representing the local parish church with its unique wall paintings. The shovel is representing the local production of malt since the 19th century.
