Furth Coat of Arms
Shield Argent parted by a bend Gules charged with sword Or, above left a bear passant Sable, beneath a lower bladed demi-wheel Sable.
Meaning:
Bear and partition per bend are referring to the Kärgl family from Furth and Süßbach. The family held privileges since the 13th century and ruled the Furth district (Bavarian: Hofmark) at least since the 15th century until 1615. The sword is an attribute of St. Michael, local patron saint of Schatzhausen. The bladed wheel is an attribute of St. Catherine, local patron saint of Arth.
