Coat of Arms

The shield is quartered of Or and Azure, the quarters Or are charged with a foundry ladle Sable filled Gules. The quarters Azure are superimposed by a bend sinister Argent, crossing the shield completely.
Meaning:
The quartered field is derived from the arms of the medieval Lords of Sinn, who originated from Frankfurt. The bend sinister is symbolizing Dill River. The red colour of the two foundry ladles is symbolizing liquid iron, processed in the local iron industries.
The coat of arms was approved in 1959 by Minister of Interior of Hesse.
