Weiskirchen Coat of Arms
Shield Argent a fir Vert flanked by a pair of antlers Sable; mantled; at dexter Gules an inesutcheon Argent charged with a centred cross Gules and superimposing a crozier Argent and an axe Argent in saltire; at sinister Azure a lion rampant Argent, crowned Or, armed and tongued Gules.
Meaning:
The sinister mantle displays the arms of the Counts of Saarbrücken, the sinister mantle displays the arms of the Archbishopric of Trier on the inescutcheon. The crozier is also alluding to the archbishopric. The axe probably is symbolising the origin of the village by forest clearance. Fir and antlers are alluding to the fact that more than half of the surface of the municipality is covered by woods.
