Ipsheim Coat of Arms
Shield quartered of Argent and Gules, in 1st and 4th quarter vine leaf Vert in bend, in 2nd and 3rd quarter 10 billets Argent ordered 1:2:3:4.
Meaning:
The quartered shield is alluding to the Margraviate of Brandenburg-Bayreuth. The Zollen kin acquired the town in 1381 from the Lords of Seckendorff. The colours red and white are those of the kin and of Franken as well. The vine leaves are stressing the importance of viticulture. The billets are alluding to a former brickyard.
