Meaning:
Markt Ippesheim in Bavaria, some 50 km West of Nürnberg. Since 1978 Ippesheim merged with Bullenheim und Herrnberchtheim. The municipality is one of the biggest wine-growing districts in Franken, represented by the grapevine. The bendy shield displays the family arms of the Barons of Hutten, former local rulers of Ippesheim. The tinctures black and white on the bordure of the inescutcheon are those of the Margraves of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, who ruled Herrnberchtheim. The tinctures white and blue in the inescutcheon are those of the Princes of Schwarzenberg, who introduced the Protestant Reformation in Bullenheim in 1525.
