Description of current flag:
The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a black over yellow horizontal bicolour. Meaning: According to Veddeler 2003, p.131 the flag shows the colours of the coat of arms.

As a conclusion the flag was used not before 1929, when the coat of arms was approved.
