Tangermünde Coat of Arms
Shield Argent, an eagle Gules armed Or with a heraldic rose Argent seeded Or on each wing.
Meaning:
The eagle is taken from the arms of Brandenburg. He was already displayed on the oldest city seal from around 1300. The roses had been added later as a distinguishing mark.
