Konnersreuth Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, on base Vert tree firs of the same, over all a roe buck salient Gules.
Meaning:
The village had been donated to the Cistercian Waldsassen Monastery in 1218 by the Lords of Liebenstein. In 1468 Abbot Nikolaus granted the rights of a market town. The arms are referring to the Rehberg Forest, a hunting ground, where all inhabitants had the right of free hunting. The pattern basically remained the same. The tincture of the roe buck had been frequently grey in the past and was sometimes depicted as a stag. Otto Hupp removed the firs by deciduous trees. The current pattern is based on the official patterns from 1812 and 1819.

The banner was approved on 10 July 1978 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberpfalz. The arms were granted in 1468 by Abbot Nikolaus of Waldsassen and confirmed on 10 July 1978 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberpfalz.
