Langeoog Island
Langeoog has an unofficial flag: black-red-blue (the East Frisian colours) with a capital 'L' on it. This was originally the flag of the Reederei Esens, a shipping company that was acquired by the island municipality in 1927. Source: van Heijnigen 1998.
