Description

The flag of the National Treasury can be found in several photographs online, including here, here, and here. The flag consists of the agency logo centered on a white field. The logo features interlocking, angled elements in the form of a gold "N" and a dark red "T" with a gold circular, compass-like element in the center. Beneath the symbol are the words "TESORERIA NACIONAL" in gold capital letters above the words "REPUBLICA DOMINICANA" in smaller, gold capital letters.

About the Treasury

According to the agency's website, the Tesorer�a Nacional (National Treasury) is the arm of the Dominican Republic government responsible for helping develop the annual budget, accounting for national revenue, paying against the country's debts, advising the Finance Minister, establish procedures for the management of treasuries, and supervising the opening, closing, and administration of government bank accounts. The National Treasury is a subordinate agency of the Ministry of Finance.
